We had a wonderful experience with Buyers Real Estate Group. They were referred to us after filling out a questionnaire online for an exclusive buyer's agent organization. Not long after that, Leone Fisher contacted me by both phone and email. I was able to call her and ask all kinds of questions, especially since we were first time home buyers. Lee found out what we were looking for and set up an account that notified us whenever a house came on the market that fit our parameters. Although I did a lot of research online myself, Lee was actually the one who found the house we ended up buying. It is only one block from where my husband is employed and in a very nice, quiet, and established neighborhood. She was very familiar with the area and knew where to look. Since we were coming from out of town (and out of state), we only had one weekend to look at houses. Lee was able to schedule and accompany our entire family of nine to our top ten choices in one morning and then took us back to look at our top two for a second look the next day. We decided on a house and made an offer the third day after Lee carefully went over all the paperwork with us. We were able to buy our house for quite a bit below the listed price even though most of the houses in the area had been selling at list price during the previous year. Lee helped arrange the inspections and attended them as well since we were out of state. She sent and received all the documents via email and was the go between for us with the selling agent and the title company, inspectors, etc. After the inspection, she helped us decide what to ask the sellers to do and they lowered the price of the house even more. All in all, it only took about 5 1/2 weeks between the time we first saw the house and when we closed! It could have been shorter except we had to wait on the sellers' schedule. Lee was there for the final walk through and received the keys for us. After we arrived, she helped with homesteading paperwork as well as giving me a tour of the area. I would highly recommend using an exclusive buyer's agent if you are looking to buy. And I would especially recommend Lee if you're looking for a house in the Twin Cities area. She is fabulous! (less)
